“I joined because I love EVERYTHING Halloween!”
–Kelly Miller, 10/31 Consortium Charter Member
Halloween is not a holiday. It is a way of life.
Join 10/31 Consortium today!
10/31 Consortium is a diverse group of people who share a love for Halloween and Baton Rouge. We have events year round and would love to have you join us! You can be as involved as much or as little as you want to be.
HOW IT WORKS:
10/31 Consortium is a 501c3 non-profit that not only has its own charitable initiatives, but also supports 3 worthy beneficiaries: Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and the Big Buddy Program. The charity aspect of 10/31 Consortium is supported and funded by the membership-based club aspect. The membership, through leadership of the Board of Directors, plans Halloween themed fundraising events all throughout the year. Members get discounts to these events as well as other perks depending on the membership level.
Join at the Crescent Moon level if you just want to stay informed and attend an event or two as a guest. Join at the Full Moon level if you are a member of an existing parade krewe or if you plan on joining or starting a parade krewe. Join at the Harvest Moon level if you are not in a parade krewe but would like to ride on a 10/31 Consortium organized float in the Halloween Parade.
Parade krewes are separate organizations from 10/31 Consortium. There are many different types of krewes. They can be (but are not limited to) floats, walking groups, dance groups, bicycle clubs, or car clubs. The krewe captain must be a member at the Full Moon level in order for the krewe to participate in the Halloween Parade.
PLEASE NOTE: Per IRS regulations, all charitable organizations must provide a written disclosure statement concerning quid pro quo contributions over $75.00. Our good faith estimate of fair market value of this membership is equal to or greater than the cost of the membership. Therefore, no part of the membership is tax deductible. Please contact your tax advisor for further guidance. Memberships are non refundable and non transferable.
