Baton Rouge, LA – 10/31 Consortium, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and happy Halloween for children in our area, is excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for its annual Black and Orange Bash. The event will take place at 7 p.m. on May 6, 2023, at the Goodwood Library (7711 Goodwood Boulevard) in Baton Rouge.
The Black and Orange Bash is one of 10/31 Consortium’s signature events and has become a “Halfoween” tradition in the Baton Rouge area. The event, which celebrates the halfway mark to Halloween, is the organization’s official announcement party and royal coronation. Guests will be the first to learn the details of the 2023 Fifolet Halloween Festival which include the theme, grand marshal, king, queen, prince, princess, and other details. The event features music, dancing, food, a cash bar, a silent auction, and a best-dressed contest. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, and the planners are excited to welcome back dance krewe, the Mystic Vixens, for a spooktacular performance.
“We are thrilled to bring back the Black and Orange Bash for another year,” said Corey Tullier, Co-Founder and President of 10/31 Consortium. “This event is always so much fun, and it’s a great way for people to get in the Halloween spirit while also supporting a great cause.”
“It’s always so fun to see the black and orange outfits that people wear to this event,” said Membership Chair Amy LeBlanc. Attire for the event is casual, costume, or cocktail, but it must be black and orange.
Tickets for the event are now available on the 10/31 Consortium website, https://1031consortium.com/events/2023bob/. General admission tickets are $40, and members of the Halloween krewe will receive a 20% discount.
Proceeds from the Black and Orange Bash will benefit 10/31 Consortium’s many Halloween-themed charitable initiatives.
