Dear Friends,
COVID-19 has forced many of our community’s favorite events to cancel, postpone or go virtual. Unfortunately, 10/31 Consortium’s signature events are no exception. It is our number one priority to keep everyone safe. Therefore, the following events have been canceled for 2020:
- Costume and Candy Drive
- Costume Giveaway Day
- Fifolet Halloween Festival, including the Halloween Parade
- It is also our recommendation that neighborhoods do not participate in Trick or Treat while we are still in Phase II.
That said, our mission to bring you a safe and fun Halloween has not changed. Our creative group of volunteers has come up with with the following events for 2020 to help you celebrate the most wicked holiday of the year!
- Fifolet Flip Flop – a reverse parade! (PENDING APPROVAL BY THE CITY OF BATON ROUGE)
- Fifolet 5k – a virtual costume race!
- Fifolet Cabaret – dinner and an online show!
Each of these new events will take a masked army to pull off. Please join the #MASKuerade and help us #SaveHalloween by volunteering today! Contact Amy LeBlanc if you’d like to volunteer.
