Baton Rouge, LA – The Fifolet Halloween Festival, Baton Rouge’s premier spooky celebration hosted by the 10/31 Consortium, returns October 24-27, 2024, with a variety of hauntingly fun events for all ages. Tickets are now on sale, and the festival is seeking volunteers and sponsors to help make this year’s event the best one yet. Themed “They Walk Among Us,” this year’s festival promises thrills, chills, and community spirit across four days of activities.
Festival Schedule of Events:
- Zombie Pub Crawl – Thursday, October 24, 6:00 PM
Participants will stagger through downtown Baton Rouge in their best undead attire, stopping at local bars along the route for eerie elixirs and creepy cocktails. - Costume Ball – Friday, October 25, 8:00 PM
Held at LSU’s Lod Cook Alumni Center, this spooky yet elegant event will feature live music, dancing, a silent auction, and a costume contest fit for the most creative creatures of the night. - Fifolet 5K, Arts Market & Halloween Parade – Saturday, October 26, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Downtown Baton Rouge will transform into a Halloween haven starting with the Fifolet 5K. After carrying a pumpkin in this costume race, attendees can explore the arts market, showcasing our best local creepy crafts, and enjoy the area’s only Halloween parade at 4:00 PM. Parade-goers are encouraged to dress in costume and bring non-perishable food donations for the Baton Rouge Food Bank. - Awards Brunch – Sunday, October 27, 10:00 AM
Close out the festival with a Halloween-themed awards brunch at the Woman’s Club of Baton Rouge, honoring this year’s wicked winners.
The festival will be led by Grand Marshal, Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis, with the 2024 Royal Court including King Jeremy Longmire, Queen Amy LeBlanc, Prince Clark Newsom, and Princess Juliette Agra.
