The Fifolet Halloween Festival is an annual Halloween celebration hosted by 10/31 Consortium in downtown Baton Rouge. Each year features a unique theme that ties together our signature events, including the Halloween Pub Crawl, Halloween Parade, and Costume Ball.

The Fifolet Halloween Festival is always held Thursday through Saturday immediately preceding Halloween. This tradition ensures the festival always leads into Halloween, with the Pub Crawl on Thursday, the Halloween Parade on Friday, and the Costume Ball on Saturday.

If Halloween falls on a Saturday, the festival concludes on Halloween night. If Halloween falls earlier in the week, the festival is held the Thursday–Saturday of the previous week.

Festival events take place throughout Baton Rouge. Individual event pages include event-specific details.

The Halloween Parade is designed for all ages. The Pub Crawl and Costume Ball are adult-oriented activities.

The Halloween Parade is free to attend. Fees may apply for Halloween Parade registration. The Pub Crawl and Costume Ball are ticketed events. 

Costumes are not required but they’re highly encouraged! Whether you go all out or keep it simple, dressing up is part of what makes the festival so much fun.

All costumes should be appropriate for a public event. Prop weapons are discouraged and masks may be subject to security requirements where applicable. 

Yes! Every Fifolet Halloween Festival is built around a unique annual theme that inspires our events, decorations, entertainment, artwork, merchandise, and more. While the spirit of Halloween remains the same, each year offers a brand-new experience for returning guests.

Yes. Temporary road closures will occur during the Halloween Parade. Please check the Parade page for route maps and closure information.

Yes! Businesses, nonprofits, dance teams, schools, krewes, community organizations, and individuals are welcome to register.

No. To celebrate Halloween and reduce cleanup, parade participants distribute individually wrapped candy and Halloween-themed trinkets instead of Mardi Gras beads.
