2026 Fifolet Halloween Parade

A Birthday Party to Die For!

Celebrate the 16th Annual Fifolet Halloween Parade, the signature event of the Fifolet Halloween Festival!

This year’s Unsweet 16 theme transforms downtown Baton Rouge into a Halloween celebration filled with decorated floats, costumed characters, haunting music, candy, and unforgettable community spirit.

As our birthday gift to Baton Rouge, parade registration is FREE for all participants in 2026, making it easier than ever to join the celebration.

Parade Registration

Want to be part of the parade instead of watching from the sidelines? Whether you're entering a float, walking group, dance troupe, marching organization, business, or community group, we'd love to have you join us. To celebrate our Unsweet 16, all parade registration fees have been waived for 2026. Register today and help us create Baton Rouge's biggest Halloween celebration. Ready to join the parade? For Spectators

Bring the whole family, put on your favorite costume, and enjoy one of Louisiana's most unique Halloween traditions. Spectators are encouraged to dress up, cheer on the parade entries, and catch individually wrapped candy and Halloween trinkets, not beads. FREE to watch!

Harvest Parade

As the parade begins, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will lead the procession, collecting nonperishable food donations from spectators along the route. Bring a canned good or pantry item and help us kick off the Halloween season by giving back to our community.

These are large floats that hold over 40 people. Six walkers are required (2 at the pulling truck, 2 at the hitch, 2 at the rear). All participants must be dressed in costume. All participants must throw individually wrapped, store-bought candy and/or light-weight Halloween-themed trinkets and toys. Krewe Captain and Truck Driver must attend the mandatory Safety Meeting. Valid driver's license and car insurance required.

Any kind of marching or dancing group at any size (pulling kids in wagons ok). One support vehicle is included to carry music and supplies. Two safety walkers are required to walk by the truck. All participants must be in costume or cohesive uniform. If not dancing, all participants must throw individually wrapped, store-bought candy and/or light-weight Halloween-themed trinkets and toys. Krewe Captain and Truck Driver must attend the mandatory Safety Meeting. Valid driver's license and car insurance required.

One support vehicle is included to carry music and supplies. Two safety walkers are required to walk by the truck. All participants must be in costume or cohesive uniform. All vehicles must be decorated. All participants are encouraged to throw individually wrapped, store-bought candy and/or light-weight Halloween-themed trinkets and toys if safely possible. Krewe Captain and Truck Driver must attend the mandatory Safety Meeting. Valid driver's license and car insurance required.

Krewe Captain and all drivers must attend the mandatory Safety Meeting. Valid driver's license and car insurance required.

Any kind of group that includes animals of any kind. All animals must be properly leashed with one adult human per animal required. Animal groups must provide their own liability insurance and name 10/31 Consortium as additional insured. One support vehicle is included to carry music and supplies. Two safety walkers are required to walk by the truck. All participants must be in costume or cohesive uniform. All participants are encouraged to throw individually wrapped, store-bought candy and/or light-weight Halloween-themed trinkets and toys if safely possible. Krewe Captain and Truck Driver must attend the mandatory Safety Meeting. Valid driver's license and car insurance required.
