Food Bank Work Day – #1

The Potato Drop on the LSU Parade Grounds is a true harvest in which potatoes are collected from local farms, bagged, and redistributed to the local BR shelters. The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank needs our help bagging up the potatoes so that they can distribute them to those in need. The Associated Grocers Food Show is a sight to see. The grocery warehouse located in Baton Rouge turns the River Center into one HUGE grocery store highlighting new products for their retailers to purchase. Oh the food! All leftover food items are donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. The food bank needs our help to bag up all of the leftovers - and there are a lot!
