INDIVIDUAL WALKER OR ART BIKE REGISTRATION FORM

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS – All mail-in payments must be postmarked by Monday, October 15, 2018. Mail checks to 10/31 Consortium, 9655 Perkins Road, Suite C-1031, Baton Rouge, LA 70810. Payments in full due by Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Safety Meeting.

 

UNIT TYPES

 

Float – This is defined as a decorated trailer of any length being pulled by a truck and sidewalls have been built up on the trailer. The maximum height allowed is 13.5 feet. All riders must be in costume. A minimum of 4 float walkers are required. Walkers may wear any style of comfortable clothing and must be at least 18 years old.

 

Open Trailer – This is defined as a decorated open trailer of any length being pulled by a truck. The trailer must not have side walls. All riders must be in costume and seated on hay bales. A minimum of 2 trailer walkers are required. Walkers may wear any style of comfortable clothing and must be at least 18 years old.

 

Small Motorized Vehicles – This unit type is defined as a group of 10 or more people in costume riding on small motorized vehicles, like motorcycles and riding lawnmowers.

 

Decorated Vehicle – This unity type is defined as an individual, street legal car, truck, school buss, etc. This is only one vehicle, not a group of vehicles. The vehicle must be decorated in a Halloween style or according to the parade’s theme. Up to 4 people in costume may walk along the vehicle. 

 

 

 

Walking Unit – This unit type is defined as a group of 20 or more people in costume walking together in the parade under a unified theme. Walking units may add on a truck to carry music and supplies for an additional fee.

 

Dance Troupe – This unit type is defined as a group of 20 or more people (friends and family) dancing together in the parade under a unified theme. An example is the Baton Rouge Beign YAYS. Dancers should be dressed in uniform or costume. Dance troupes may add on a truck to carry music and supplies for an additional fee.

 

Dance Teams – This unit type is defined as a group of students from a school. An example is a high school dance team or a competition team from a dance school. Dance teams must dance to Halloween music and provide a song list prior for approval. Dancers should be dressed in uniform or costume. Dance teams may add on a truck to carry music and supplies for an additional fee.

 


Bicycle Unit
– This unit type is defined as a group of 20 or more people in costume riding decorated bicycles together in the parade under a unified theme. Bicycle units may add on a truck to carry music and supplies for an additional fee.

 

Individual Walker – Individual Walkers must dress according to specific categories as they will be grouped together with other Individual Walkers to form the semblance of a Walking Unit. All walkers must attend the Safety Meeting and sign a Waiver of Liability. Please complete the Individual Walker or Art Bike Registration Form in addition to paying fees. 

Individual Art Bike – Individual Art Bikes are decorated bikes with riders in costume who ride on their own in the parade. All art bike riders must attend the Safety Meeting and sign a Waiver of Liability. Please complete the Individual Walker or Art Bike Registration Form in addition to paying fees.
