Baton Rouge Halloween Parade
October 27, 2018 at 4 p.m.
Downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana
The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank leads this “parade with a purpose” and actively takes non-perishable food donations straight from the crowd. Parading krewes, dancers and bands entertain the crowd with incredible costumes and candy throws. The Baton Rouge Halloween Parade is a major fundraiser for 10/31 Consortium. Proceeds from the parade help further our initiatives of creating a safe and happy Halloween for the children in our community.
The 2018 parade theme is Things That Go Bump in the Night! We want to see your ghouls and ghosts, we want to see creepy crawlies, we want to see phantoms and monsters and boogie men under the bed! Get creative and have fun! The 2018 Halloween Parade Royal Court includes King David Gabel, Queen Meredith Beck-Wiggins, Count Steven Collins, Countess Josie Criscoe, Prince Wesley Stein, Princess Madeline McCoy and Pages Caroline Chick, Clara Collins, Iris Collins, Lola Didier, Alex Gabel, Jack Gabel, Ella King and Ciarra Whyte. And featuring Grand Marshal Jodi Koontz of Murphy, Sam and Jodi!
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION – REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED! PLEASE TRY AGAIN IN 2019.
There are many ways to participate in the parade. These consist of a variety of krewe and unit types. A krewe is a group of people who want to be in the parade together for whatever reason. A unit is the physical entry, like a float or walking group. Registration prices vary depending on your krewe and unit types. Click the links below for more information on how to register.
KREWE APPLICATION FORM – APPLICATIONS OPEN MAY 1, 2018. Please complete this form PRIOR to paying your entry fees. 10/31 Consortium will contact krewes accepted to the Halloween Parade via email.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS – Log in BELOW to receive the 20% discount or become a Full Moon member HERE. All mail-in payments must be postmarked by Monday, October 15, 2018. No Krewe? No problem! Individual Walkers must dress according to categories as they will be grouped together with other Individual Walkers to form the semblance of a Walking Unit.
